Another visit to Von Braun starts off with the Bulls taking advantage of the power play as Keegan Bruce scores with assists from Sean Gammage and Brandon Fehd (17:23). Birmingham up 1-0 early. The period will end that way and Birmingham with the edge on shots 12-9.

After Birmingham draws a penalty negating the power play, Huntsville ties the game at 9:13. The Havoc’s next 2 goals will come on power plays, first at 6:28 and then at 4:14. The Bulls get to the break down 3-1 after being outshot 19-7, not looking at all like the first period here tonight.

More of that in the 3rd period as Huntsville put goals in at 7:31 and again at 5:45. The 6th and final nail comes with 34 seconds remaining and the Bulls lose 6-1 on the road. Huntsville took 48 shots at Charlie Millen as Birmingham registered just 28 on the night. Penalty minutes are 44 for the Bulls to the Havoc’s 36 minutes.

A night to forget, hopefully a short Christmas break will help the Bulls get back into the spirit as they go back to Huntsville on Wednesday the 27th. Game time is at 7:00 and can be heard on WERC 960 AM and on iHeart Radio. The game will also be broadcast on Alabama Cable Network, Charter Cable channel 80 and online at
