On the road in Indiana, the Bulls take on the Evansville Thunderbolts. The Bolts strike first with a goal 4:29 into the 1st period. Graham Yeo evens it up with an unassisted goal with 4:40 left in the period and they’ll go to break tied 1-1. Evansville has the edge on shots at 8-6.
The Thunderbolts will pull ahead by 2 in the second period with goals at 17:15 and 7:59 and control shots with a 14-8 advantage.
Third period shots go to the Bulls 6-5 but they can’t find success again. The Bolts add a goal with 2:48 remaining and win this one 4-1. Parks will get the loss after stopping 23 of 27 shots.
Tomorrow night, same teams, same time and hopefully different results. The Bulls then return home for a 3:00 game Sunday afternoon against Huntsville. Police, Fire and EMS workers receive free admission Sunday’s game for First Responders Day. The first 1,500 adults will receive a free hat. Doors open at 2:00.
