Back home facing in state rival Huntsville Havoc the Bulls open first period scoring as Shane Topf muscles one in with assists from Andrew Darrigo and Graham Yeo (7:59). Josh Harris adds a goal with assists from Shane Topf and Justin Larson (4:12) to put the Bulls up by 2. Huntsville pulls within one with 14 seconds left in the 1st and they’ll go to break 2-1. Shots for the first frame go to the Bulls 17-12.

Steven Phee adds a pair of goals in the second. The first at 12:12 with assists from Shane Topf and Graham Yeo and an unassisted goal at 2:14. Much fewer shots this period but the Bulls have the edge 7-6.

Lots of great hockey in the 3rd but no goals. The Bulls again out shot the Havoc 14-12 and pick up 2 pts. for the win. The intensity on the ice flooded to the crowd of 2,516 or maybe it was the other way around. Either way, the rivalry dynamic takes a turn and will only get bigger from here. Mavric Parks gets the 4-1 win stopping 29 of 30 shots.
